Forest Hill is geographically in South East London and therefore has all the characteristics of South East London in regards to being very busy. Having said that there are some very nice areas to learn to drive in very close in Nun Head, I use a place we nick name learner land. This is where you will undertake the majority of your training, especially in the early stages.
For very nervous pupils or if your just want to concentrate on an exercise without traffic, it’s only a short drive to Crystal Palace car park, which is a vast space with no traffic, a learners paradise. In learner land there are corners to practice the reverse around the corner exercise, and plenty of space to perform the turn in the road exercise (three point turn). You will be required to perform both of these maneuvers on your practical test.
As well as getting broken in gently, once you’re feeling more confident you will gain valuable experience on the diverse road conditions that South East London has to offer. This will bring your skills up to a standard unprecedented to a training you would receive anywhere else in the country. Yes folks you will be learning to drive under the most difficult conditions in England.
